CORE MODULES + ELECTIVES

Step one (Required Prerequisite) many schools have an application fee, instead we are doing an application class. This will give you a taste of our teaching style and us a chance to see if we are a good match.

Welcome to "The Essence of Sound Healing: Art, Science, and Tradition." We'll explore the intricate relationship between sound and healing, shedding light on how vibrations interact with the body's Chakra System, meridians, and reflex zones. Step 2 Attend The Core Course Work (normally $5000 $4000 for the first 10 students, financing is availible for an additional fee).

  • Introduction to the Fundamentals: Basic Anatomy and Physiology in relationship to sound. What is Sound Therapy?   8 hours

  • The Tools We Use: A General Introduction To The Tools Of The Trade 8 hours

  • Metal & Crystal Bowls 8 hours

  • Tuning Fork Theory 8 hours

  • Percussion, Drums, Rhythm & Chimes 4 hours

  • The Mystical Gong 8 hours

  • 5 Element Theory In Ancient Traditions 4 hours

  • Group Sound Events and Guided Meditations 8 hours

  • Power of the Voice and Vocalization 4 hours

  • Ethics and Business Basics 8 hour

  • Trauma-Informed Workshop

  • Vibro-acoustic Tables, Harp therapy, vests, and VR 4 Hrs

  • Video Class Marketing Myths & Misinformation Featuring Denise Blaney 8 hours

  • Video Class Dig Deeper Featuring: Mike Tamburo , Mitch Nur and Thomas Orr Anderson 36 hours

Student Requirements:

  • In-Class Time - 75-hours minimum

  • Online Learning - 44 hours Minimum

  • Complete 30x student practitioner sessions. This includes 1/2 hr intake for  time for the pre/post student session - 30 hours

  • Instructor sessions (give one, receive one) - 3 hours

  • Optional electives and practicum service hours, (additional fee) - 24 hours

  • Supervision Class then Closing & Graduation Ceremony - 6 hours

Total minimum hours required for the  Foundations diploma: 180-hours.
Additional hours are optional through participation in our expos and other sound events.

Step 3

Qualifying for the advanced Diploma & ISTA Certification

To qualify for our advanced Diploma and  the ISTA Certification you will need to take an additional 40 hours of electives. Elective courses are not included in tuition fee and have additional fees associated to them.

  • Shamanic Sound : Use of instruments in a shamanic session 8 Hrs (Cost $500)

  • Trade shows and fairs 4 Hrs
    (must work one show (Cost $150))

  • Working with Medical Professionals 4 Hrs (Cost $150)

  • Web design & online marketing
    Zoom 4 Hrs     (Cost $150)

  • Folk Flutes & Native American Flute 8 Hrs(Cost $250)

  • Shruti Box, Harmonium, Monochord, Handpan Introduction 8 Hrs (Cost $250)

  • Advanced Gong 16 Hrs (Cost $490)

  • Throat Singing 4 Hrs (Cost $225)

  • Drum or Flute Circles Facilitation 4 Hrs (Cost $225)

  • The Art of the Crystal Singing Bowl: Certification Program 20 hours (Web Class) $666

Rooted In Sound’s School of Sound

A twelve month intensive fundamental course (with internship can be completed in 9 months) meeting one day each month. Student sessions to be completed between each class. $5000.00 $4000.00 for core course work!

Class time is from 9:30am-6:30pm
2025 class 1 dates: January 2025
Graduation December (11am-1pm)
